ゲーム用周辺機器メーカーのNyko Technologiesは、iPodで動画を見ることができるデバイスをCESで披露する。ゲームコントローラーを中心とした同社にとって、オーディオ市場への初参入となる。 同社がCESでデモする新製品は「MoviePlayer」という名称で、3.5インチの6万5000色表示TFTディスプレイと内蔵コントロールパッドを組み合わせたもの。同社は「このデバイスを接続することにより、iPodを完全なマルチメディアセンターに変えることができる」と述べている。同社の説明では、MoviePlayerは動画と静止画の両方を再生可能だという。
