新WIN端末「W31SA」「W31K」登場～「着Flash」に対応

W31SAはオートフォーカス機構付きの133万画素CMOSカメラを備えたスライドボディ端末。本体フロント部には、ツインステレオスピーカーを装備。Spatializerの3Dステレオ技術により、迫力ある3Dサラウンドで音楽を楽しめる。
着うたフル、FMラジオに加え、CDからminiSDカードに録音した音楽を聞くことが可能なSD-Audio機能を備える。
miniSDに取り込み可能なフォーマットはAACのみ（2004年5月の記事参照）。CDからの変換およびチェックインを行うためのソフトは同梱されず、CDから取り込んだ音楽を聴くためには、別売りの松下電器製ソフト「SD-Jukebox」（2002年3月の記事参照）と、著作権保護／セキュリティ機能に対応したSDカードリーダー／ライターが必要。
着うたフル（1月6日の記事参照）もCDから取り込んだ音楽も、再生にはミュージックプレイヤーを利用。プレイリストは、「両方のフォーマットの楽曲を取り混ぜた形で作成可能」（KDDI広報）だという。W31Kは、WIN端末では初となるフレンドリーデザイン端末（2004年9月の記事参照）。メインディスプレイには26万色2.4インチの大きなQVGA液晶を装備。発着信や履歴、アドレス帳画面を最大44ドットの大きな文字で表示できるほか、現在時刻や着信時の相手、メールやEZwebの内容の音声読み上げ機能を備える。
本体にはステレオツインスピーカーを装備。ダイマジックの3Dステレオサラウンドプロセッサー「DiMAGIC Virtualizer X」が搭載され、迫力の3Dサラウンドサウンドを楽しめる（2004年10月の記事参照）。
ミュージックプレイヤーには「Bass」「Clear」「Pop」「R&B」「Live」などのエフェクト機能や、30分、60分、90分から選べる自動終了タイマー機能が搭載される。音楽を聴きながらのメール送受信、EZwebやメールの閲覧に対応する。
