Motorolaは2月16日、期待の高まるiTunes携帯電話の実機をデモしたという報道に反論した。 同社は2月15日、カンヌで開催された3GSM World CongressでE1060を初めとする新製品のデモを行ったが、このE1060がiTunes互換の携帯電話として広く報道されてしまった。 Motorolaの広報担当者はMacworld UKに「E1060は新しいiTunes携帯ではない。この製品はiTunesアプリケーションの機能を見せるためのデモに使われただけだ」と説明した。
