インターネットを積極的に利用する層ほど保有者が多い傾向も判明。インターネットユーザー全体の保有率は15％で、特にブロードバンドを利用している場合は23％が保有、ダイヤルアップユーザーの9％を大きく上回った。家庭と職場の両方でブロードバンドを利用しているというユーザーの保有率は最も高く、31％に上っている。一方、インターネットを利用しない層では4％のみだった。
