株式会社ソニー・ミュージックエンタテインメント(SME)は22日、音楽/映像配信などネットワークを介したサービス提供を行なう新会社、株式会社ソニー・ミュージックネットワークを4月1日に設立すると発表した。
新会社は、SMEのホームページ「Sony Music Online Japan」やブロードバンドマガジン「MORRICH」などを運営するSMEのデジタルメディアグループの営業と、SMEの子会社である株式会社ソニー・ミュージックダイレクトが運営する音楽配信サービス「bitmusic」を手がける同社のマーケティンググループの営業を承継する。
