日本民間放送連盟や日本音楽著作権協会（JASRAC）など著作権関連16団体は，テレビドラマをブロードバンド（高速大容量）配信する際の著作権使用料の暫定料率を決定した。著作権関連団体に検討の場を提供してきた日本経済団体連合会が，2005年3月23日に発表した。これにより，テレビドラマをブロードバンド配信するコンテンツ配信事業者（コンテンツ利用者）は2005年度に，その情報料収入の8.95％と広告料収入の1.35％を著作権使用料として支払うことになった。今回の暫定料率は，テレビドラマをストリーミング形式でブロードバンド配信した場合に適用される。
