松下電器産業は、SDオーディオ対応の携帯型オーディオプレイヤーなどのオーディオ製品「D-snap Audio」シリーズを4月8日以降順次発売する。今までデジタルカメラシリーズで使われていた「D-snap」ブランドをオーディオ製品にも採用、SDメモリーカードを中心としたオーディオ製品に注力する。「SDオーディオネットワーク」を構築、「オンガクのカタチ、変わる。」をスローガンに訴求を図っていく考えだ。

松下電器産業は2005年3月17日、携帯音楽プレーヤーD-snap Audioの新モデル2機種4タイプを発表した。携帯音楽プレーヤーの「SV-SD100V／SD90」は、HDDやフラッシュメモリーに音楽データを保存するのではなく、SDカードへ音楽データを保存する。一方の「SV-MP730V/MP720V」は、フラッシュメモリー内蔵型で、スタイリッシュなデザインが特徴。それぞれ4月8日から順次発売する（SV-MP730Vのみ4月25日発売）。価格はすべてオープンで、予想実売価格はSV-SD100Vが1万8000円前後、同SD90は1万4000円前後。またSV-MP730Vは2万8000円前後、同MP720Vは2万円前後。
