株式会社アール・ダブリュー・シー(RWC)は、MP3プレーヤー内蔵ヘッドフォン「itan EGOISTE(アイタン エゴイスト/ITN-HEG256)」を4月下旬より発売する。価格はオープンプライスで、店頭予想価格は13,800円前後の見込み。
ヘッドフォンにMP3/WMAプレーヤー機能を内蔵。折りたたみ式のアームを採用し、小さく折りたたんで収納できる。
内蔵メモリは256MBで、USBストレージクラスに対応。USB 2.0/1.1経由でPCと連携してオーディオデータの転送が可能となっている。対応オーディオフォーマットはMP3とWMAで、対応ビットレートはMP3が8～320kbps、WMAが64～192kbps。WMA DRMもサポートする。
