GMOメディア、RSSリーダー機能搭載の「mypop」がPodCastingに対応

GMOメディアは、RSSリーダー機能を備えたプッシュ型情報配信サービス「mypop」のブログ更新通知機能を拡張して、PodCastingに対応したと発表した。mypopの利用は無料。
PodCastingは、Webサイトの音声ファイルをRSSを利用してダウンロードできる仕組み。mypopでは、RSSを手動で登録するか、サイトに用意された登録ボタンをクリックすることで、音声ファイルがダウンロード可能になる。
また、ダウンロード時にはサイトごとにフォルダを自動生成するほか、iTunesの場合はダウンロード後に自動再生も可能だという。なお、利用可能なプレーヤーはiTunesとWindows Media Player 9以降で、設定画面から選択できる。
