OnGenは、カラオケやインストゥルメンタルも提供する音楽配信サービスとして2004年8月17日にサービスを開始。当初は14,000曲だった楽曲数も現在では約11万曲まで拡大し、楽曲提供レーベルは約100レーベルに達した。OnGenではサービス1周年を機に、更なるユーザビリティ向上を目的としてサイトデザインのリニューアルを実施、同時に新機能「My OnGen」を導入した。
