HDD/メモリー型携帯プレーヤー利用者の2割がオンラインで楽曲購入

BCNは9月9日、携帯音楽プレーヤーの利用に関して市場調査した結果を発表した。それによると携帯音楽プレーヤー所有者のうち、ハードディスク装置（HDD）／フラッシュメモリー内蔵型や、メモリーカード装着型の機種を持っている人は57.6％を占め、MD／CD／カセットテープといった従来型の再生機種の所有率を上回った。
人気が高まっているこれらHDD／メモリー型機種を所有する人の20.5％が、楽曲の購入方法として音楽配信サービスを挙げた。加えてそのうち40.0％の人は、アップルコンピュータの「iTunes Music Store（iTMS）」を利用した経験があるという。
